Customers who manufacture small batteries, which are essential components of electronic devices, wanted to introduce the Vision Solution to inspect and analyze defects.  


To inspect cylindrical batteries, the inspection had to be carried out on each side, and there was a limit to check the defects that occurred in an unstructured form with the rule-based inspection.

LAON PEOPLE provided a solution to capture images in three locations (upper, lower, and lateral side) and to use deep learning to examine the type of defect occurring in each area.
